Dedication: This page is dedicated to my friend, and cousin, Hallene Elizabeth Latham Cayton (b. 3 Mar 1914; d. 30 Sep 2003). Hallene was doing genealogy before most of us were born. We, that are her cousins, owe her a lot for researching our family - before computers, and the other technological advances, came along. The day she & I took these photos was a very special day for me, being with her. I miss the stories she told me of growing up along the Pamlico River many years ago. We all miss her. |
